Auerochsen / Aurochs

 Im Neandertal gibt es einen Park mit Auerochsen, Tarpanen und Wisenten. Unten sind einige Bilder der Auerochsen. Die „echten“ Auerochsen sind ausgestorben. Was man heute noch findet, sind Tiere (Bos primigenius), die so gezüchtet wurden, dass sie dem ursprünglichen Tier so ähnlich wie möglich sind.

In Neandertal you can find a park with Aurochses, Tarpans and Wisents. Below are some pictures of the Aurochses.  The "real" aurochses are extincted and what you can found today are animals (Bos primigenius) which are breeded to be as lookalike as as they were.

Totale Ruhe / Total calmness

Eine totale Ruhe. Bei sanftem Licht bricht langsam der Morgen herein und die Vögel beginnen zu singen.

A total calmness. With a soft light the morning slowly comes and the birds start to sing. 

Noch einmal Schnee / Snow once again.

Fast ein Jahr später und der Schnee liegt wieder da. Ein kleiner Spaziergang im Neandertal.

Almost one year later, and the snow is here again. A short walk in the Neandertal.  

 

 

Schnee! / Snow!

 Heutzutage kommt es in dieser Gegend nicht mehr oft vor, dass Schnee liegt. Deshalb war es schön, einen kleinen Spaziergang zu machen. Aber wenn es um Tiere geht, habe ich eigentlich nicht viele gesehen. Schön jedenfalls.

It is not often there is snow in this area nowadays. Therefore it was nice to take a small walk. But wenn it comes to animals, actually I did not see many. Nice anyway.  

 

 

 

 

 

Und, noch ein Reh / And, another roe

Früher Morgen und gutes Wetter, alles ist gut, aber ich sehe nichts Interessantes. Aber da, weit weg, kommt ein Reh. Kann ich ein Foto machen? Nein, nichts schöneres, und näher komme ich nicht heran. Dann sieht es so aus, als würde das Reh vielleicht den kleinen Weg überqueren, auf dem ich stehe. Und ja, hier kommt die Dame. Und noch besser: Sie kommt auf der Straße auf mich zu. Als sie mich sieht, versteht sie nicht, was es ist. Sie kommt auf mich zu, steht da einer weile, dreht sich dann um und geht schnell zurück in den Busch.

Early morning and good weather, everything is good, but I don't see anything interesting. But there, far away, comes a deer. Can I make a photo? No, not really any nice one, and I can't get any closer. Then it looks like maybe the deer will cross the small road where I'm standing. And yes, here the lady comes. And even better, she's heading my way on the road. When she see me, she doesn't understand what it is. She comes towards me, stands there for a while, then turns and quickly walks back into the bush.

 

 

Noch ein Reh / Another roe

 Es ist manchmal schwierig nicht zu fotografieren. 

Sometimes it is difficult not to take photos. 

Noch ein Morgen / One more morning.

Langsam wird es heller und Neandertal erwacht. Geräusche und das Vogelgezwitscher. Dann kommt mehr Licht. Und so, kommt die Sonne endlich über den Horizont.

It slowly gets lighter and Neandertal wakes up. Sounds and birdsong. Then more light comes. And so, the sun comes finally over the horizon.

 

 

Reh / Roedeer

Ich habe mich auf eine Bank in unmittelbarer Nähe der Felder gesetzt. Dick angezogen weil es ist ganz kalt. Ich hoffe es kommt etwas zu fotografieren. Und plötzlich kommt sie von der andere Seite direkt in meiner Richtung. 

I sat down on a bench in the immediate near of the fields. With warm clothes while it is rather cold. I hope there will be something to photograph. And suddenly she comes from the other side directly in my direction.

Früh früh / Early early

 Sehr früh am Morgen, wenn es immer noch dunkel ist, dann können die Rehe auf den Feldern frühstücken. Mit dem schönen Morgenlicht kommen die Hundebesitzern und die Joggern, und mit denen ist die ruhe vorbei. 

 Very early in the morning, when it is still dark, then the roedeers could have their breakfast. With the beautiful morning light the dog owners and the joggers will come, and then the peacefullness is gone.

Eine neue Saison beginnt / A new season starts

Die Graureiher positionieren sich für eine neue Saison. Es ist wichtig, für das Paar eines der bereits fertiggestellten Nester nimmt, sonst müssen sie sich einen Platz suchen und ein eigenes bauen.

 The gray herons are positioning themselves for a new season. It is important for a couple to take one of the already finished nests, otherwise they will have to find a place and build their own.

Felswände / Cliffs

In Neandertal gibt es viele Plätze mit Felswände. hier ist eine, wo Menschen früher Schiefer abgebaut haben. Der Klima im Tal gleicht einem Regenwald. 

There are many places with rock faces in Neandertal. here is one where people used to mine slate. The climate in the valley is like a rainforest. 

 

Nach dem Regen / After the rain

 Ich war seit Mai nicht mehr im Neandertal, und seitdem gab es eine verheerende Flut wegen Starkregens. Dies war ein Ort, an dem ich früher einige schöne Fotos gemacht habe, aber jetzt sieht es aus wie ein Baugebiet.

I haven't been in Neandertal since May, and since then there was a disastrous flood because of heavy rain. This was a place I earlier have taken some nice photos, but now it looks like a counstruction area.

Maulwurf / Mole

Noch einige Rehe / Some more roedeers

 Zwei Rehe frühmorgen auf der Wiese. Im Nebel sind die fast schwer zu sehen. 

Two roedeer early on the field. In the fog they are hardly to be seen. 

 

Ein bißchen später finde ich nebenan dem Gehweg ein Rehboch. 

Little later I am finding the Roebuck beneath the walking path. 

 

Groß und klein / Big and small

Wenn Sie eines Morgens ruhig und leise gehen, bevor andere Menschen ankommen, können Sie Glück haben und sowohl große als auch kleine Tiere sehen.

If you walk calmly and quietly one morning before other people arrive, you can have luck to see both large and small animals.
